To her ‘Simplicity is another name of elegance’. She thinks fashion is about comfort and feeling good and staying classy.
She started her struggle with four dresses and was a mother of a child aged 2 years only. But that doesn’t stop her from being a successful women entrepreneur. She remained unable to complete the MBA as her passion for fashion drives her more. She used the social media platform from the very beginning. Her entrepreneurial journey with her life partner began in 2017. Both of them always focused on quality women’s clothing products and customer service. Right now leading a seven member fashion designer team for weaving the dream of clothes to home decor products. More than 2,000 artisans mostly from Jessore, Jinaidah, Khulna, Jamalpur, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Bogura, Sherpur, are working for her. She is the role model of women entrepreneurs in this sector.
Within a very short time she has accomplished the j-curve and is growing with her choice of fashion and vision. From thread to customer, her expertise is in every department. Block, Batik, Screen Print, Hand Embroidery and Machine Embroidery products are under one umbrella under her supervision.
Right now she is expanding the business ethically. Organic food, ayurvedic products are proudly winning the hearts of thousands introduced recently in Dress Up. Also, importing authentic cosmetics and household products of renowned brands across the world.

Asif Iqbal, owner of DressUp. In 2017 when I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with my life partner, Popy, and centered DressUp around the vision that fashion, organic & pure products ought to be more approachable, inclusive, and (yes) fun. From that very day I have accomplished a J-curve in the business. I got lucky because I never gave up the search. I learn everyday to reach the next level.
I completed my graduation in 2010. In the same year started a job in a multinational marketing company, Grantor World. In 2012, started a business ‘Expo International Ltd’, with other partners as a Director. I continued that business till 2016. Afterwards I have invested in the manufacturing business in my home district. At the same time during my job and business, I manage time to be a youth volunteer, trainer, and leader with a very pleasant imprint. I was Camp Secretary (year 2009-2010)of ‘Lions Global Youth Camp 2010’ where 70 Leos from Nepal participated and Camp Chairman (year 2010-11), Vice District President (year 2011-12), Leo District President (year 2012-13) Leo District Council 315A1, Lions Clubs International, Bangladesh. Now I am a proud Lion Leader.
2,000 artisans around the country are our real heroes, as without their kind effort we cannot dream of our products. Managing online/ offline retail, importing and manufacturing business at the same time is quite difficult. However, along with my life & business partner I am managing it well and have a dream to expand the business horizontally and vertically.
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist or a visionary, or even a graduate to be successful. You just need a framework and a dream. Your strong zeal of being successful matters.
